New Rochelle Board of Education Launches Investigation of Former President Jeffrey Hastie

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle Board of Education approved a resolution tonight authorizing an audit of thousands of dollars in international voice and data charges incurred by former Board President Jeffrey Hastie while traveling in Europe and Africa.

The audit comes following a report by Talk of the Sound published on July 14, 2019.

The resolution authorizes Ingerman, Smith to hire an auditor to assist in its review of “the utilization of a district-owned cellular phone by the former 2018-2019 President of the Board of Education.
