COVID-19 School Report Card: Sound Shore Area Schools 10-10-2020

ALBANY, NY — New York State has reported data COVID-19 test results for all Sound Shore area schools as of October 10, 2020.

Iona College had reported 2 cases and 18 students quarantined as of October 3, 2020. That number grew to 14 positive cases to date with 7 reported by last Thursday. By Friday Iona College was reporting 58 positive cases and by Monday October 12th, the Mayor of New Rochelle was reporting Iona College had 60 positive cases.

City School District of New Rochelle had 9 lab reported positives based on residential address with 2 at New Rochelle High School, 1 at Christopher Columbus Elementary School and 1 at George M. Davis Jr. Elementary School.

Rye High School reported 1 new case a week ago Saturday then a second case.

Rye Neck had 4 lab reported positives based on residential address and 6 students (2 Daniel Warren, 1 FE Bellows, 3 Rye Neck Middle School) and 1 teacher at Rye Neck High School.

Mamaroneck School District had 3 lab reported positives based on residential address including a teacher at Mamaroneck High School.

Pelham had 3 lab reported positives based on residential address.

Port Chester-Rye School District had 6 lab reported positives based on residential address.

Blind Brook-Rye School District had 2 lab reported positives based on residential address.

Iona Prep, Iona Lower School, The Ursuline School , Resurrection School had zero cases.

Salesian High School had 2 reported cases as of October 10, 2020.

Westchester Hebrew High School had 1 reported case as of October 10, 2020, a teacher.

The Leffell School (formerly Solomon-Schechter School) had 1 reported case as of October 10, 2020, a student.

Monroe College has reported no cases on its New Rochelle Campus of October 10, 2020.
