  1. The key word is GOOD reporting. This is the first time in a long time that I have seen your report factually about your police department, rather than just making things up and running with it. Please stick to the FACTS.

    1. Utter nonsense.

Can you provide an example of “making things up” about a police incident?

Our reporting on NRPD is based on press statements made by NRPD either because they sent us the story or we asked about an incident in the police blotter they send us.

We do more reporting on NRPD incidents than any other media outlet.

  2. This is either a bs story or the NRPD plan to let Nicholas Gomes-Suppa go (and if so why?) It’s not what the police blotter said it’s what it didn’t say is where the answer lies. They never tell us where in NR the stop was made, the suspects home location they found cache of weapons, or the name of the arresting officer. Who doesn’t want to know if they’re living next to a potential mass murder? The most pertinent information was PURPOSELY left out of the police blotter setting the stage for a potential cover up. To all New Rochelle residents and concerned citizens everywhere PLEASE stay on top of this story. NRPD is putting Westchester and surrounding NY in danger by NOT releasing vital details about what Nicholas Gomes-Suppa had planned with his arsenal of assault weapons and his relationship to the NRPD that they would be so generous to bury this story in a one sentence and “it’s under investigation” article.

  7. You are looking at an article based on a press release from the NRPD (pictured above).

If you do not like the term “assault weapon” etc. you should give them a call at 914-654-2300.

  8. GOOD JOB NRPD!! Raised in New Rochelle for 2 decades and never ever heard one gun shot or saw any guns period.

This is very surprising to me. Turning into the south with the gun toting??

  9. Right? WTF is an “assault shotgun”? Obviously the writer is a baby-pants liberal, with zero firearms knowledge.

  10. Why is “assault” overly used in the liberal media? There’s nothing assaulting about it. Assault weapons are what the military uses with full automatic, not semi automatic as many liberals can’t differentiate between the two.

  11. Don’t be ignorant. An AR15 is not an assault rifle. Seriously, you make yourself seem like an idiot.
