NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Two New York City men were arrested early Monday morning after one crashed a stolen Nissan Pathfinder into a utility pole on Davis Avenue.
Dayquan Raymond, 25, of Harlem, NY and Christopher Marshall, 20, of Brooklyn, NY. were arraigned on charges of Grand Larceny 4th degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree, both felonies, and then released as per the new Bail Reform Laws of New York State. The pair is due back in court on November 23rd, 2020.
New Rochelle Police responded to a motor vehicle collision of a car into a pole on Davis Avenue at 4 am on November 9th. Upon arriving on scene, officers quickly determined that the vehicle was actually in the process of being stolen and subsequently crashed while being pulled out of the owner’s driveway.
A witness was able to provide officers with descriptions of two suspects. A search of the area immediately yielded the two suspects, and after a brief foot pursuit, both parties were apprehended.
