ALBANY, NY — E-ZPass Customers from Westchester and Rockland counties are eligible to associate their E-ZPass tags with the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge Residency (MCR) Plan.
The MCR Plan provides qualified residents of Rockland and Westchester counties a toll rate of $4.75 per trip for passenger vehicles through 2022 with no minimum trips required.
Eligibility Requirements:
• E-ZPass account must be with E-ZPass NY.
• E-ZPass address must be in Rockland or Westchester County.
• Discount is associated to a specific E-ZPass Tag(s) based on eligible plates (registered in Rockland or Westchester County) on your account.
• For each E-ZPass Tag to receive the discount, a unique eligible plate must be listed on your account.
• Applies to passenger vehicles only.
To receive this discount on all your E-ZPass Tags, you must first add eligible plate(s) to your account. Login to your E-ZPass account to add/update your plates.
To add the MCR plan to an E-ZPass Tag, login to your account at e-zpassny.com and choose plans.
Under Add Another Plan section:
- Select MCR from the Tag-Specific Plan drop-down list and
- Select the Tag number you want to add the plan to; add the MCR plan to existing tag(s).
This plan is associated to a specific E-ZPass Tag and may only be used in vehicles registered in Rockland or Westchester County. If you have more E-ZPass Tags than eligible license plates on your account, then not all E-ZPass Tags will receive the discount.
If you request additional Tags in the future, you will need to add an eligible plate to your account and then add the plan to your E-ZPass Tag. The discount plan will not automatically be added to the new Tag.
