Four Suspects Sought After Man Threatens to Kill New Rochelle Gas Station Clerk over $200

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Overnight in New Rochelle, four men robbed the Sunoco Gas Station at 71 Huguenot Street.

At about 12:41 am, New Rochelle Police Officers responded to a report of a robbery.

Subsequent investigation revealed that 4 male/black suspects had entered the store and one of them walked behind the counter and demanded money from an employee. This suspect then pointed to the cash register and said, “Give me the money or I’ll Kill you”, at which time the register was opened and the suspect took approximately $200.

The 4 suspects fled the area northbound on River Street in a four- door grey sedan.

New Rochelle Detectives are conducting a follow-up investigation, and anyone with information is encouraged to call the New Rochelle Police Department at 914-654-2300.

  1. Why not send in the clergy?
    Can you say 4 Black men?
    Is that not racist?
    Maybe they were applying for a short term loan?
    Clearly if NRPD respond they may have to draw their service weapons follow a vehicle and what if some force is used?
    And maybe be foiled to death by people wanted to know what they ate for breakfast.
    I can easily see how utterly difficult the job is
    It there smart all police units are up hanging in the shopping center off Wilmot protecting the Starbucks.
