NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle Interim Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero has been named a finalist for Superintendent for the Denver Public Schools in Colorado.
Dr. Alex Marrero, Dr. Stephanie Soliven, and Andre Wright are the three finalist, according to the Denver Public Schools website.
Marrero was a finalist for the City School District of New Rochelle which is expected to soon announce its decision between Marrero and Jonathon Raymond.
Each finalist will interview with seven different interview panels: students; teachers and school staff; school leaders; central staff; senior leadership team; Board of Education; and DPS parents, guardians, families, and community. DPS will livestream both the student and community interviews on Thursday, May 13. The student-led interviews will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the community interviews at 6 p.m. You can watch the interviews live via Vimeo from this website.
