PORT CHESTER, NY — A man overdosing and not breathing on Wednesday afternoon is alive after a concerned citizen called 911.
At about 3:45 p.m. Port Chester Police responded to a 911 call of a party slumped over the wheel of his vehicle on the Boston Post Road. Responding units found a male unresponsive in his vehicle at the traffic light. It was immediately recognized that the male was.
The male was removed from the vehicle. Multiple doses of Narcan were administered, CPR started, and within a period of time the male began breathing again.
After a few minutes, the male was awake and talking. The man was transported to an area hospital.
