NEW ROCHELLE, NY — An effort by Disgraced Former New Rochelle Board of Education President David Lacher, who is married, to pursue criminal charges against his former mistress ended in failure today.
Appearing before Judge Jared R. Rice, the Westchester County District Attorney today withdrew two counts of Aggravated Harassment — 2nd against Stephanie Lombardo, 34 years of age, of New Rochelle, NY.
Lombardo instead pleaded guilty to two counts of Disorderly Conduct, non-criminal violations, both with ACDs (Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal). The DA waived all fines.
Lacher has a history of acting deplorably then painting himself as the victim because his deplorable conduct becomes public.
In the now sealed case, Lacher repeatedly sought to have sex with a woman half his age — and her mother — then repeatedly pushed the young woman away only to repeatedly seek to continue the relationship. It appears Lacher was unable to dupe the court system into buying his act.

In 2014, Lacher, a lawyer, was caught misappropriating $13,500 in school district funds to pay for his personal medical insurance. He wrote a letter to his fellow board members, justifying his actions on the basis that he really needed the money.

How is it, with his gory history and behavior, is this man allowed to be anywhere NEAR a school board? He is an obviously very sleazy lawyer who knows how to wiggle his way out of charges because he should’ve been charged for theft and for lying and harassment.. A very dangerous individual
In the case of the BOE, he was not removed from the board as he should have been so you need to ask the 2014, 2015 BOE members. He was invited back in by Amy Moselhi who thought he was a helpful resource to her. Not sure she still thinks as highly of David.
Put simply, he is a pig. Sadly, there are many gullible people very willing to accept his victim routine.
