RYE, NY —Rye Police rescued a person from a partially submerged vessel on Saturday afternoon.
Rye PD received a call of a vessel in distress off Playland Pier at about 1:30 p.m. Rye PB-1 deployed immediately with 3 Bay Constables aboard. The constables were able to rescue the sole occupant without incident or injury.
Rye PD coordinated the rescue with Rye Firefighters, Port Chester EMS and Westchester County Police.
