RYE, NY (July 30, 2022) — A 76-year-old man was found deceased in the water off the Rye Boat Basin located at 651 Milton Road
Rye Police Officers responded to the scene at approximately 9:00 am this morning on a report of an unidentified male in the water.
Responding Officers went into the water and pulled the man up onto the dock.
Rye Brook Port Chester Rye EMS arrived on scene and pronounced the male deceased at 9:14 am.
The male was turned over to the Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
An Investigation has been opened by the Rye Police Department but at this time foul play is not suspected
Rye Police are withholding the deceased’s name out of respect for the family.
