WHITE PLAINS, NY (August 15, 2022) — Starting Tuesday, the new ParaTransit App allows users to book a trip, receive real-time text updates, make payments, and more on their Smartphone.
Users are required to call 914-995-2958 to set up an account.
Why it matters: Planning a trip on the Westchester County Bee-line ParaTransit System is now possible with a variety of Smartphone technology enhancements.
The existing website offers limited functionality such as booking a trip up to a week in advance and getting an automated phone call the night before with a 30-minute pickup window.
ParaTransit App Features:
- Get an automated phone call the night before with a 30-minute pickup window
- Get a text/call 10 minutes before your vehicle arrives
- Get real-time notification of your vehicle’s location on a live map
- Manage a trip on the day of service and book future trips up to 7 days in advance
- Make payments ($5 a ride)
