Bronx Man Arrested by State Police on I-95 in Mamaroneck for DWI with BAC 2X

Mamaroneck, NY (September 13, 2022) – The driver blew a .18, more than twice the legal limit of .08.

Police narrative:

On September 11, 2022, at approximately 1:53 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-95 in the village of Mamaroneck for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

John A. Figueroa, 32, of Bronx, NY, was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18%.

Charges:

  • Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, an Unclassified Misdemeanor

Figueroa was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Mamaroneck Court on October 6, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
