NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle City Manager Kathleen Gill has promoted Commissioner of Development Adam Salgado to Deputy City Manager. For now, Salgado will retain his Development Commissioner title.
“Over the past few years, I have relied heavily on Adam’s support and guidance and I am confident he will be successful in this new role,” said Gill in an announcement to City staff. “He will continue to hold the position of Commissioner of Development.”
Adam Salgado has had a meteoric rise over the past year. Just 10 months ago, Salgado was the Deputy Commissioner of Development. He was promoted to Commissioner of Development, on March 21, 2022.
Kathleen Gill was promoted Deputy City Manager on the same them took over as City Manager this month, on January 1st.
