PORT CHESTER, NY (March 3, 2023) — A store clerk was locked in a stockroom and threatened as a mam stole money from a gas station.
Police narrative: Early Thursday morning on March 2, 2023 at about 3:45 am, an unknown male entered the Shell Gas Station on the Boston Post Road in the Village of Port Chester. The perpetrator, forced his way behind the counter to the cash register and stole the proceeds. Although no weapon was displayed, the suspect secured the clerk in a rear stockroom area and made threats of harm, prior to fleeing.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a hooded blue jacket, mask, jeans and workboots, and fled in an unknown direction on foot.
PCPD Detective’s are working to obtain any area video to further this investigation and identify the perpetrator.
PCPD asks anyone who may have seen anything suspicious at that time, or works or lives nearby to check their video for this suspect.
