NEW ROCHELLE, NY (March 9, 2023) — An unidentified man robbed a liquor store yesterday evening across the street from New Rochelle City Hall, about 24 hours before Mayor Noam Bramson will deliver his final State of the City address tonight.

Bramson recently announced he would not run again for Mayor. The surprise announcement came not long after the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office announced it would not pursue criminal charges against Bramson in what many believe was a quid pro quo. The criminal matter was the result of an ethics complaint filed by this reporter one year ago.
