NEW ROCHELLE, NY (May 20, 2023) — Twice in 12 hours, New Rochelle Police responded to a vehicle roll-over, this one occurred at about 2:45 am on Sunday. The previous roll-over occurred on Saturday at about 4:00 pm.
The incident early Sunday morning occurred in front of the 1 Harrison Street apartment. There were no injuries reported, according to New Rochelle Police.
There were no arrests, police are treating the incident as an accident.
Several hours later, debris from the roll-over littered the street and sidewalk. The vehicle appears to have struck the curb after making the turn from Main Street heading East onto Harrison Street heading North. Scratch marks were still visible on the street. The vehicle narrowly missed striking a white BMW parked close to where the overturned vehicle came to a stop.
