MAMARONECK, NY (August 13, 2023) — The Village of Mamaroneck Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on August 14, 2023, at 8:00 PM in the Courtroom at 169 Mt. Pleasant Avenue.
The meeting will begin with the swearing in of Police Officer Liliana Mendoza. Members of the public will then have an opportunity to address the board, with comments limited to three minutes.
Several public hearings are scheduled, including a continuation of the hearing on the Comprehensive Plan Update, and the opening of hearings on housing discrimination law, nuisance abatement law, and the administration of an affordable housing placement program.
The board will also conduct an audit of bills, with resolutions authorizing budget amendments and transfers for various purposes. Old business is not on the agenda, but new business includes resolutions authorizing agreements and contracts for various projects and initiatives.
Members of the public will have another opportunity to address the board before reports are presented by the Village Manager, Clerk-Treasurer, and Village Attorney. The meeting will conclude with the approval of minutes from previous meetings of the Board of Trustees and various commissions, boards, and committees.
