Stabbing in Mamaroneck Bar

MAMARONECK, NY (February 11, 2024) — At approximately 9:00 pm on February 1, , Village of Mamaroneck Police received a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a local bar in the 200 block of Halstead Avenue. Officers responded and located a 29-year-old male Mamaroneck resident with a wound to his hand.

The victim reported that an acquaintance, Gregory Difalco, a 58-year-old

Harrison resident, had slashed his hand with a knife while at the bar. Officers canvassed the area; however, Difalco had fled the scene. Officers requested an ambulance, which responded and transported the victim to the

hospital. The victim is expected to recover.

At approximately 10:30 pm, DiFalco turned himself in at Village of Mamaroneck Police Headquarters.

Arrest & Charge:

Gregory Difalco, 58, of Harrison, NY

  • Assault 2, a D Felony

He is currently being held pending arraignment in Village of Mamaroneck Court.
