NEW ROCHELLE, NY (July 12, 2024) — New Rochelle firefighters rescued a white-tailed deer stuck in the mud at Mill Pond.
Firefighters used ladders to climb into the mud in an unidentified lake. After an hour, they were able to safely remove the deer from the mud and reunite it with its presumed mother, who was watching from a distance.
