NEW ROCHELLE, NY (November 30, 2025) — Robert Rubicco and Christina Rubicco, the owners of The Treehouse Play Place, the name sponsor for last weekend’s New Rochelle Thanksgiving Parade, continue to pile lie upon lie.
It is true that Christina Rubicco was named to the 2017 Business Council of Westchester 40 Under 40 Rising Stars list on June 15, 2017.
That she was honored in June 2017 is amazing because her sole claim to fame at the time was operating Anna and Jack’s Treehouse which had only been licensed by OCFS the year before. A year later the Rubiccos had so many violations that the state put the day care center on a “pending a revocation” list — and their house was in foreclosure.
Like so much of the Rubicco’s story, the BCW recognition has mushroomed into delusional fantasy.
Not satisfied with her inclusion in the 2017 Business Council of Westchester 40 Under 40 Rising Stars, up until 2021 she claimed she was named on a “40 Under 40” list by 914 INC, a Westchester magazine publication.

There is no such award.
We spoke with Westchester magazine in 2021. They said neither Westchester magazine nor 914 INC published a “40 Under 40 List”.
Westchester magazine said they do offer “Wunderkinds” awards to honor local Westchester professionals under the age of 30.
An editor at the magazine said, “bless her little heart, Christina confused “Wunderkinds” with the “40 Under 40 Rising Stars” list put out by the Business Council of Westchester.
That is some confusion.
Christina Rubicco, born in 1983, was not under 30 years old in 2017 so not eligible for a “Wunderkinds” award.
Westchester magazine did not explain how Christina Rubicco might confuse being added to a 2017 Business Council of Westchester 40 Under 40 Rising Stars list with a 2017 Wunderkinds list for those under 30 from Westchester magazine or a 2017 914 INC or Westchester magazine 40 Under 40 list as neither publication has a 40 Under 40 list.
Christina Rubicco has since had a major upgrade. She currently claims she has been recognized on Fortune Magazine’s 2017 40 Under 40 list.
On their LinkedIn page, Anna & Jack’s Treehouse says “Christina… has been recognized as a winner of Fortune’s 40 Under 40”.

Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list recognizes 40 influential business leaders under 40 on a global basis, across categories like finance, tech, healthcare, and more.
Fortune’s 2017 40 Under 40 list includes Mark Zuckerberg of Meta (formerly Facebook), tennis legend and venture capitalist Serena Williams, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Airbnb founders Brian Chesky, Joe Gebbia and Nathan Blecharczyk, Snapchat founders Evan Spiegel and Bobby Murphy, Stripe founders John and Patrick Collison, Spotify founder Daniel Ek, Coinbase founder Brian Armstrong, Shopify founder Tobias Lütke, WeWork’s co-founder Adam Neumann, and Emanuel Macron, currently the President of France.
And, supposedly, Christina Rubicco for her one (failed) year running the newly licensed Anna & Jack’s Treehouse.
