NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (December 3, 2025) — The holiday season officially begins in New Rochelle at 5 p.m. Dec. 6 with the New Rochelle Holiday Lighting celebration.
The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, together with the City of New Rochelle and the New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District, will host the event, which features a countdown to light the city’s Menorah and Christmas Tree, followed by a special appearance from Santa.
The celebration includes performances by Songcatchers and the SISTAS IN CHRIST Gospel Quartet.
Free hot cocoa and treats will be served courtesy of local sponsors.
