NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (January 17, 2026) — The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of Tennis Innovators Academy at 55 Quaker Ridge Road.
The event is scheduled for 4 p.m. Jan. 22 at the newly constructed facility, which marks the academy’s second location and its first in New Rochelle.

The site was previously occupied by The Fountainhead, a popular catering hall that operated for nearly 60 years, hosting weddings, bar mitzvahs, sweet 16 parties, and other celebrations until it closed on June 30, 2018; after the closure and demolition of the original building, the 2.13-acre property sold in February 2023 for $5 million, paving the way for redevelopment by The Young Companies.

Built by The Young Companies, the academy features eight Deco Turf US Open hard courts and an on-site fitness center managed by North End Fitness & Training, a New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce member.
Tennis Innovators Academy offers high-level tennis programming for juniors and adults of all ages. The Junior Academy customizes courts, balls, rackets and nets for players 12 and under. Programs for players 14 and under and 18 and under provide intermediate and advanced development. The High Performance Academy serves dedicated athletes competing in USTA sectional, national and ITF events. Adult programs offer curriculums for beginners to advanced players.
Parking is available on the premises.
