According to a notice issued by the Port Chester Police Department Detective Division, the incident occurred on Feb. 26, 2026, at about 4:12 p.m. at the ACME supermarket located at 261 South Ridge St. in Rye Brook.
Police said the suspect “did commit a larceny” at the store and left with a cart full of groceries without paying.
Authorities said the individual then fled on foot toward the parking lot in an unknown direction.
