RYE, NY (April 20, 2026) — Westchester County is set to revive the historic magic of Playland Park with the grand opening of its 2026 season starting on May 23. The park will initially open for the weekend on May 16 and 17.
Playland Park, a designated National Historic Landmark, is celebrated for its iconic architecture and historic rides. The county has invested nearly $150 million into capital projects aimed at restoring the park’s historic beauty.
