RYE, NY (April 20, 2026) — A City of Rye police officer arrested Jan A. Sokolowski, 59, of Meriden, Connecticut, for driving while intoxicated on Purchase Street.
According to a press release from the Rye Police Department, the incident occurred around 6:50 p.m. Monday. Sokolowski was stopped for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.
