NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (April 26, 2025) — The New Rochelle Public Library will host a free workshop on preserving personal documents, photographs, textiles, and books on Thursday, May 7, from 2 to 3 p.m. on the second floor in Meeting Room 2A.
The workshop, titled “Spring Cleaning Your Documents and Photographs,” will offer advice and best archival practices for preserving individual and family treasures, according to library officials.
Organizers say anyone who saves personal documents, letters, and photos will eventually face the problem of clutter, and that proper storage is essential to enhance the longevity of collected materials.
Registration is required at bit.ly/SpringCleaning_May2026.
