A Boat Dedication Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, May 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Harbor Unit Headquarters, 100 Hudson Park Road. The police vessel “Marine 1” will be dedicated in memory of Detective Mark Gado.

Police Commissioner Neil Reynolds stated, “These ceremonies serve as a solemn reminder of the courage and selflessness demonstrated by the men and women of law enforcement.
