NEW ROCHELLE, NY (May 14, 2026) — Ward Acres Park will host GoatsFest on June 6, celebrating the return of a visiting herd of goats that assist in clearing invasive plants.
This family-friendly event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes live music by the Good Old Brothers Band, food vendors like Lucy’s Tacos and Mr. Softee, and a bake sale by the Ward Acres Community Garden.
Children’s activities will feature the ArtsWestchester ArtsMobile, storyteller Therese Folkes Plair, and face painting. Attendees can enjoy walks, talks, arts and crafts, and goat viewing.
Information booths will be available from organizations including the City of New Rochelle DPW, New Rochelle Public Library, Sustainable Westchester, and more.
