RYE, NY (May 23, 2026) — Playland Park has opened its doors for the 2026 season, welcoming families for another summer of classic rides and unforgettable memories in Westchester County. The park invites visitors to enjoy its array of attractions, including the return of the historic Dragon Coaster.
The park’s opening schedule includes Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of Memorial Day Weekend from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Starting Wednesday, June 3, the park will operate Wednesday through Sunday until Labor Day, September 7, and will conclude the season on September 12 and 13.
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins expressed pride in the park’s legacy, stating, “For generations, Playland Park has been woven into the fabric of summers in Westchester County, creating cherished memories for families and visitors alike.”
Parks Commissioner Kathy O’Connor emphasized the family-friendly experience, while First Deputy Commissioner Peter Tartaglia highlighted the park’s unique charm and long-standing traditions.
