NEW ROCHELLE, NY (June 21, 2026) — Two men were arrested on gun charges in New Rochelle and released without bail after arraignment, according to New York state court records.
Vince Outerbridge, born in 1991, and Oshane Martin, born in 1996, were each arrested June 20 by the Westchester County Department of Public Safety and charged with one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a felony, in connection with a loaded firearm, court records show.
Martin faces four additional charges: unauthorized use of a trailer on a parkway, unauthorized use of a truck on a parkway, failure to obey a traffic device, and operating a vehicle with a single license plate, according to the records.
Both men were arraigned in New Rochelle City Court before Judge Tamika A. Coverdale. Court records list the outcome in both cases as “Adjourned, Arraigned, ROR,” indicating each defendant was released on his own recognizance. The records do not indicate that bail was requested or set in either case.
Outerbridge is represented by the Legal Aid Society of Westchester. Martin is represented by assigned counsel Jayson A. Brustman under the county’s 18-B program. Both men are being prosecuted by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office-New Rochelle.
Court records indicate both cases are scheduled for further proceedings June 22, with a judge to be determined.
