NEW ROCHELLE, NY (July 15, 2026) — After a five-year hiatus, New Rochelle High School inducted four alumni into its Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame, including sports radio host Craig Carton, who served federal prison time following his 2018 conviction on securities fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy.
I emailed the district on June 27 asking how the committee applied its own “high standards of excellence” criteria to Carton’s record, why the hiatus ended now, and other basic questions about the process. I followed up on June 30. No response.
