NEW ROCHELLE, NY (August 12, 2026) — Robert Cox, Publisher of Talk of the Sound and Words IN Edgewise, has filed a Freedom of Information Law request seeking the records behind New Rochelle’s decision to use taxpayer funds to finance the defamation lawsuit against him. During the Dec. 10, 2024, City Council meeting, Mayor Yadira Ramos-Herbert described the proposal as “something that is unprecedented within itself.”
