Written By: Robert Cox

DUBLIN, IRELAND (October 15, 2026) — Part VI of The Public’s Right to Know examines why I filed an Article 78 proceeding against the City of New Rochelle, City Manager Wilfredo Melendez and City Clerk Kim Jones after the City denied 24 Freedom of Information Law requests.

The article explains the legal issues now before Westchester County Supreme Court Justice Erin M. McGoey, the relief I am seeking and the City’s arguments for refusing to reconsider the requests.
