PELHAM MANOR, NY (October 28, 2026) — Pelham Manor is bolstering its environmental efforts by participating in the New York Power Authority’s Tree Power Program. This year, the village has secured 66 trees through the program, doubling its order thanks to NYPA’s matching initiative.
The village has planted a total of 81 trees on public lands this calendar year, coordinated with local residents. Village Hall encourages residents to request tree plantings in front of their homes by calling 914-738-8820.
‘Our focus on sustainability is consistently woven into our operations, this program benefits the environment and our budget!’ said a spokesperson for Pelham Manor.
