New Rochelle Library Unveils Redesigned Website

Written By: Talk of the Sound News

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (November 2, 2026) — The New Rochelle Public Library (NRPL) has launched a redesigned website, offering a refreshed online experience for community members. The new site aims to enhance the ease of discovering programs, exploring resources, and connecting with Library services.

The website’s streamlined navigation provides quick access to services such as room reservations, events calendar, library card registration, museum passes, and the Ask a Librarian feature. The homepage prominently displays upcoming events, recommended reading, and featured resources.

The new web address incorporates “New Rochelle,” establishing a stronger online identity. The design aligns with NRPL’s new logo, introduced in July, for a cohesive visual identity.

“We are grateful to the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation for its generous funding, which made our new logo and redesigned website possible,” said Executive Director Eugenia Schatoff. “These investments help us welcome people into the Library in new ways, both in person and online. We want everyone to be able to find what they need, discover something unexpected, and feel connected to all that the Library offers.”

The website is part of NRPL’s broader initiative to strengthen community connections and plan for future facility improvements, following the Library’s capital bond referendum. As part of this transition, staff email addresses have also been updated to the new domain.
