Assistant Principal Gets Canned for Exercising Artistic Freedom While Scoring Regents

Written By: Talk of the Sound News

The New York Times reported that an Assistant Principal in NYC was recently fired for changing over 1000 incorrect responses on a Integrated Algebra Regents exam. Then lied about it when questioned about it. Duh! Does a cheater tell the truth once they are caught? No. They continue to lie to the point that they lose sight of reality and can no longer tell reality from the distorted world they have created for themselves. Furthermore, they aggressively attempt to justify their pathological behavior.

The investigation began in August, after a state education official alerted Mr. Condon’s office to an eyebrow-raising irregularity: On algebra exams taken by Contemporary Arts students, 1,013 multiple-choice answers had been erased and changed — in 94 percent of the cases, from incorrect to correct.

Further raising suspicions, there was also a “considerable inconsistency” between some students’ performance on the multiple-choice part of the exam and other sections, in which they had to write out their answers.
