Habitat for Humanity Fundraiser Draws Excited Crowds to Downtown New Rochelle for Fazzino Art Exhibit & Signing

468EA368-FB55-4321-8A62-F51CB0B62AC6.jpgTony Aiello and Charles Fazzino co-hosted a wonderful benefit event to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Westchester. Organized by Jim Killorin, the event was a great success, raising money to building homes for the less fortunate in Westchester County.

The event featured an exhibit of the work of renowned 3D Pop Art artist Charles Fazzino who was signing poster prints of his painting American Dreams of La Rochelle throughout the evening. Signed copies for American Dream of La Rochelle are now available for $40.00 plus shipping or you can save the shipping and stop on by Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations during at either 524 main Street or 591 Main Street in downtown New Rochelle.

Fazzino has done commissioned works for many other organizations including Ellis Island (for which he received the Elllis Island Medal of Freedom), the President’s Council on Physical Fitness, the NFL, and the New York Mets.

City Council members Marianne Sussman and Berry Fertel were on hand.

The event was sponsored, in part, by JP Morgan/Chase Manhattan Bank. The event was held inside the historic Chase Bank branch in downtown New Rochelle on Main Street, . The bank building was designed by American Beaux-Arts architect Henry Bacon who also designed the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.
