SusanKettner.pngThe Westchester/Putnam Central Labor Body AFL-CIO has endorsed Susan Kettner, Esq. in her bid for New Rochelle City Court Judge. The labor delegates, representing a wide range of labor organizations across the area, stated in their endorsement letter that Kettner’s “experience will give [her] a good background for the job [she] is seeking and an understanding of the people [she] will be dealing with”. Both candidates for the Court seat actively sought the AFL-CIO nod.

Kettner noted her appreciation for the endorsement: “I have offered the people of New Rochelle the choice of a candidate born in New Rochelle, with 20 years of experience practicing here in our community; elected as the first woman to lead the New Rochelle Bar Association; a candidate who has shown leadership and judicial temperament as head of New Rochelle’s Zoning Board of Appeals. I’m gratified to have the support of the men and women of labor who recognize the credentials I will bring to this post.”

Kettner is running on the Democratic and Working Families lines for the November 2nd election.
