This morning there was yet another incident at the corner of Huguenot Street and Division Street where pedestrians are getting knocked down, street signs and storefront awnings are being ripped down and, today, a street crossing sign was knocked over following a “hit and run” collision on the east side of what is becoming one of the most dangerous intersections in the City of New Rochelle.
After striking the crossing sign, the driver of the vehicle drove off. A City worker was on the scene this morning marking off the area from pedestrian traffic.
