City of New Rochelle Has No Records Corroborating Kohler Claims; Basis for Claims by Organisciak and Strome Do Not Exist

Written By: Robert Cox

Talk of the Sound recently filed a FOIL request for all of the documents on file with the New Rochelle Municipal Civil Service Commission for Rolf Kohler to include all communications between the City School District of New Rochelle and the New Rochelle Municipal Civil Service Commission; and between the New York State Civil Service Commission and the New Rochelle Municipal Civil Service Commission regarding Rolf Koehler.

The City’s replies to the records request are in bold letters.

1. Request from the City School District of New Rochelle made in 2009 for there to be a Civil Service Safety/Security Exam and a job description for the position. This would be for what became the posting and exam for School Security Specialist held in February 2010

There is no documentation or record available.

2. Request from the City School District of New Rochelle to amend the job description for School Security Specialist related to the February 2010 Civil Service Safety/Security Exam.

There is no documentation or record available.

3. A denial of this request by the New Rochelle Municipal Civil Service Commission.

There is no documentation or record available.

Both documents are referenced in the recent statements on the Rolf Koehler issue by Schools Superintendent Richard Organisciak and City Manager Chuck Strome. If they existed they would be from on or about December 2009. It appears there never such a request or denial. It appears that, once again Schools Superintendent Richard Organisciak is lying and that City Manager Chuck Strome, mistakenly relying on Organisciak’s word, has repeated that lie in his own statement.
