El reciente arresto del antiguo administrador de la Isaac Young Middle School, el Sr. Jose Martinez, a causado mucha preocupacion a nuestros padres de familia primero por lo que ocurrio y el impacto a nuestros ninos. Pero a la vez, lo que se ha manifestado tambien es una falta completa de respeto a la comunidad latina de New Rochelle por parte de la administracion y junta escolar. Una falta de comunicacion en escrito en lo que paso y lo que esta pasando. El viernes pasado en la manana lo arrestaron. Inmediatamente se hubiera organizado una reunion con padres de familia de IYMS y con lideres de la comunidad. No ocurrio. Durante el fin de semana y el Lunes y Martes, tambien no hubo reuniones con los padres de familia de IYMS. Imaginese si esto hubiera ocurrido el la escuela de Albert Leonard? Los padres ahi no hubieran tenido la pasciencia para esperar. La admninistracion esta usando la reunion pre-programada por el PTA para reunir a los padres. O sea el PTA esta encargado de organizar este evento. Eso esta bien, pero disminuye la seriedad y envolvimiento de la administracion – como que no lo esta tomando en serio!
Todos sabemos muy bien que habido muchos problemas en la IYMS con abuso de nuestros ninos y las muchas quejas que se han hecho a los directores pero que nunca han resultado en nada. En si, existe una cultura que castigar al que se queja y tambien sancionan a los maestros que quieren cambiar cosas para lo mejor.
Esta noche Miercoles (Correcion)hay una reunion a las 730PM en la IYMS. Por favor esten presente. No sabemos si nuestros hijos estan bien ahi. Exijan cambios! Si no se pueden quejar a la escuela haganlo a la fiscalia. Gracias
