New Roc City hosted its Second Annual Ring in the New Year at Noon celebration earlier today. Jimmy Fink of 107.1 The Peak served as the event’s emcee. The event combined traditional New Years activities with face painting, arts and crafts, kiddy rides, magicians, clowns, a martial arts demonstration, games and more.
The Downtown BID “sold out” the event, giving away over 1,200 free passes.
The crowd was large, fun and festive. The highlight of the event was the balloon drop where thousands of balloons descended on the crowds below.

What a great event and a real shot in the arm for New Rochelle. This is the perfect venue to replace First Night. Kudos to everyone responsible for what I hope becomes the latest New Rochelle Tradition for generations to come!
