Ines Candrea, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed away peacefully on July 31 at the Somers Manor Nursing Home, Somers, N. Y. She was 80.
Ines was very active in New Rochelle, especially at St. Joseph’s Church, New Rochelle, with the New Rochelle Humane Society, and with the Feeney Park Boys and Girls Club in New Rochelle.
She is survived by daughters Jo-Ann Galletta and Catherine Bellantoni, and by son-in-law Anthony Galletta. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Joseph Candrea.
Visitation at N. Cancro Funeral Home, 104 Fourth St., New Rochelle, NY on Thursday, August 2from 2 – 4 and from 7 – 9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 280 Washington Ave., New Rochelle, NY on Friday, August 3 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, New Rochelle.
