NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The College of New Rochelle senior tennis player Raisa Jadotte (Willingboro, NJ/Life Center Academy) has been named the Association of Division III Independents Tennis Player of the Week, it was announced today by the conference office.

Jadotte posted a 2-0 week for the Blue Angels, earning two doubles wins. Jadotte paired with fellow senior Shirley Garcia at #3 doubles for an 8-6 win against St. Joseph’s College-Brooklyn, which led the way for a 5-4 Blue Angels win which kept CNR unbeaten in conference play. Against Pratt Institute, the senior was able to pick up her second win of the week when she paired with freshman Allison Gurney at #3 doubles.

This is the second time this season that a Blue Angel tennis player has been recognized by AD3I, as Samantha Gomez earned the same award on September 30.

The College of New Rochelle is next in action on Friday, October 17, traveling to Bronx, NY to take on Lehman College in a non-conference match scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM.
