WHITE PLAINS, NY — Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino will declare Thursday, September 17, “Legends of Motown” day in Westchester during a 7:30 p.m. concert at the County Center featuring the legendary Jacksons and the Temptations Review. 

“Who doesn’t love the Motown sound and we’re just so excited to have two legendary groups that defined an era and a genre,” said Astorino who will present proclamations to both groups.

The Jacksons, celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Jackson 5, will perform all their mega-hits made famous with their brother Michael including: “I Want You Back,” “The Love You Save,” “ABC” and “I’ll Be There.”

Famous for their trademark choreography, distinct harmonies and flashy wardrobe, The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards will perform their hits “My Girl,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “Cloud Nine” and “Ball of Confusion (That’s What the World is Today).”

Tickets are still available and are priced at $97, $87 and $57 each and can be purchased in person at the County Center box office, online at Ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.

            The County Center box office is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

The Legends of Motown concert is presented by Homestyle Entertainment and Westchester County Parks with support from iHeart Radio.

The County Center is located at 198 Central Avenue at the Bronx River Parkway in White Plains. It is also accessible from the White Plains Metro-North railroad station, and via the Westchester County Bee-Line bus system.
