NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The City of New Rochelle will observe Arbor Day with a tree planting in Ruby Dee Park at Library Green on Friday, April 29 from 2-3 PM. The event, organized in conjunction with the New Rochelle Public Library, will also feature a children’s workshop. In attendance will be Deputy Mayor Jared Rice, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Bill Zimmermann, and City officials.
