NEW ROCHELLE, NY — It was a rockin’ good time as more than 600 business people turned out for the Business Council of Westchester’s Business Hall of Fame Awards Dinner where six businesses were inducted into the prestigious group.

This year’s program, which was held April 19 at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, featured a “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame” theme complete with Elvis and Elton John look-a-likes who greeted guests as they arrived.

“This year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame theme perfectly reflects the energy, spirit and enthusiasm of our members in the Business Council of Westchester. As Westchester County’s largest and most influential business organization, we take pride in seeking out and shining a spotlight on the accomplishments – and contributions – of Westchester’s top businesses,” said BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon.

“To our winners — Congratulations on your talent, tenacity and achievements and thank you for making Westchester such a great place to live and to work.

The winners represent the diversity of businesses that make up the Business Council membership: Fortune 500 organizations; mid-size corporations, family-owned businesses; entrepreneurs and women in business. You are the face of Westchester business today and you stand for Westchester’s bright economic future,” said BCW Chairman Anthony Justic.

County Executive Robert P. Astorino congratulated the winners and thanked them for their contributions to Westchester’s economy. The master of ceremonies was News12 Westchester anchor Scott McGee.
