New Rochelle High School freshmen Evan Phillips and Sam Rosenberg have raised $37.500 in donations in the Be a Good Cookie LaCrosse Tournament over several years. They started the event several years ago as a bar mitzvah project. At the ceremony, they will hand a check for that amount to Gretchen Witt, Vice-President and Co-Founder of Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. The organization will also have boxes of cookies on hand to hand out to students and staff.
