NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle Public Library in conjunction with WEBS Career and Educational Counseling Service is once again offering a free eight-week career counseling seminar for adults this winter called “Managing Your Career in Changing Times”. The program is geared to those who are unemployed, changing careers, re-entering the work force or returning to school.

The eight-session workshop consists of a mandatory orientation session on Tuesday, 25th, as well as seven group sessions on Tuesdays, beginning October 16th, from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm, and one individual session with a career counselor. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and is limited to 15 participants.

WEBS helps participants assess themselves, explore career options, obtain careers and educational information, find out about the latest trends in resumes and job search, and develop a career plan.

The New Rochelle Public Library is one of five public libraries in the County that is participating in the WEBS project. Sponsored by the Westchester Library System, WEBS has counseled more than 40,000 adults in the Westchester area.

Those who wish to attend the program must call WEBS at 674-3612 to register. Places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
